Annual Fundraiser: Dia de los Muertos Sponsorship

We are excited to share this year’s plans for the San Francisco Symphony’s Día de los Muertos Concert on Saturday, November 1, 2025. In the past, our League has celebrated this concert with a post-performance cocktail reception and dinner. While those gatherings created many wonderful memories, the rising expenses and required staff resources make them no longer sustainable. This year, rather than hosting an evening event, we are shifting our focus to something just as meaningful: coming together as a League to sponsor the Día de los Muertos concert itself.

Our goal is ambitious yet achievable: to raise at least $25,000 collectively toward sponsorship of the annual concert. As an SF League member, we are required to financially support our Annual Fundraiser at the minimum level. This year, the contribution minimum is $250, with additional giving levels available. These contributions will directly support the Symphony and count toward Annual Fund donor benefits for the 2025–26 season. Here’s what your participation means:

• Recognition for the League – Our sponsorship will be recognized in concert programs, on the Symphony’s website, and in concert communications. The recognition will be collective, honoring the League as a whole.

• Donor benefits for you – Your individual contribution will be applied toward the Symphony’s Annual Fund and donor benefits, according to your giving level. This also satisfies your obligation as an Active SFL member to financially support the Annual Fundraiser at the minimum ticket level.

• Special League gathering – All SFL members and guests attending the concert will be invited to a preconcert toast in the Wattis Room, a festive moment to celebrate together before the performance.

• Ticketing – Limited seating has been reserved for our group in both the Premier 1st Tier or Premier Orchestra sections. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased using this form and will include the preconcert toast in the Wattis Room. Don’t delay!

This new approach allows us to make a significant and visible impact on one of the Symphony’s most cherished cultural celebrations while streamlining resources and focusing our energy on what matters most, supporting extraordinary music.

We hope you will join us in this exciting collective effort. Together, we can ensure that the San Francisco League continues its legacy of leadership and generosity while creating new traditions for the future. Please mark your calendars for November 1, 2025, and prepare to raise a glass with your fellow League members in celebration of music, culture, and community.
