We are thrilled to announce that the San Francisco League exceeded its goal, raising over $25,000 to sponsor the San Francisco Symphony’s 18th annual Día de los Muertos Concert on November 1, 2025!
Thanks to the generosity of our members, the League’s name was prominently featured as the concert sponsor, supporting a vibrant and deeply meaningful celebration of Latin American heritage. The event, conducted by Lina González-Granados, featured music by Gabriela Ortiz, Arturo Márquez, Gabriela Lena Frank, and more. Preconcert festivities included community art installations, interactive altars, sugar-skull decorating, live catrinas, and a Mariachi instrument “petting zoo.”
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every member who contributed to the fund. Your contribution helps the Symphony bring this vibrant cultural concert to life and ensures the League continues its legacy of generosity and leadership.
